Let's give it another shot

So I've had this blog for almost three years and I've only posted a couple of things and this couple of things seem to have been posted within the same month or so. I think I simply didn't care anymore since nobody was reading it, maybe just my cousin and any ghost who has nothing to do but to surf the web for pointless blogs. Since Alicia seems to be starting a blog, maybe it's about time for me to also begin writing one. Writing down one's thoughts can be beneficial for one's own sanity, especially for me, since so MANY random thoughts go through my head every second. Sometimes I wake with a random song in my head and it just doesn't go away for hours, sometimes for days, and it just gets annoying. One time, I had a song stuck in my head for over a week. How annoying is that?! and it wasn't even a good song! Anyway....right now I'm listening to Hope Leaves, by Opeth, my favorite band

I like them because they're so versatile when it comes to music. They play some badass metal but they know how to balance out the songs with very beautiful and well-built melodies, along with some good singing. They are just too good for their own good, if that makes sense. This song is from the Damnation album, one that is completely growl-free. Although their majority of songs are very aggressive, this whole album is very mellow and I like to listen to it when I need to relax. This is another one I really like: Death Whispered a Lullaby

So, to summarize my awesome day... I woke up late, went to school, came back, ate and then went to work. Fascinating. I think I'm going to go to bed now and let Death whisper a lullaby to me. Maybe tomorrow won't be so mediocre. ah....there's a party tomorrow night! YES!
